War Machine Still Going Strong

It doesn't seem a year can go by without a celebrity sex tape surfacing on the Internet. This time one involving KISS bassist Gene Simmons has found been released onto the web. Will people want to see the “God Of Thunder” in all his glory? I'd say plenty would, which is a frightening thought.
The tape was allegedly made during a promotional tour Gene did for Frank's Energy Drink - a good trip for all by the sounds of it. Frank's Energy Drink doing particularly well out of it. They've received a healthy amount of publicity and I'm sure many will wonder whether Gene drank some of their product before getting down to business. I wouldn't mind betting that Frank's might roll out a marketing campaign that suggests this.
What is surprising some is who Gene's female companion is on the tape. No it's not Shannon Tweed his girlfriend for the last twenty odd years. This shouldn’t come as a real shock. Gene has always been open about the fact he could sleep with other women. Maybe people wanted to believe this was a myth. More to the point did people not want to believe that an unconventional relationship could survive? Whatever it is the tape seems to prove that Gene has been telling the truth about all his conquests.
So who is the lucky lady? That would be Elsa, a model who works for the drinks company. She could make a small fortune in a short time if she plays her cards right. The only stumbling block for her will be if she was involved in recording the tape without Gene's knowledge. At the very least I can see Elsa appearing on talk shows and I'm sure a newspaper or magazine will pay her for the story - with the headline being "My Night With The Demon".
As for Gene - he seems genuinely upset. I doubt he'll get much sympathy and he probably doesn't deserve any. Gene has his legal team trying to prevent the video from spreading across the Internet. Going on other cases they are facing an uphill battle. What will be of interest is if Gene pursues legal action what will be his motives. Does he want to protect his family or does he feel he has missed out on a lot of money.
Gene won't harm his reputation even if the tape ends up on DVD. Those that hate him don't need another reason and those that love him are likely to respect him more. He also has a huge ego meaning he won't be bothered by it for long.
If it generates more money for him he'll be thrilled and would try to get a series going. Hopefully this never happens.
