Ready to write

So here I go again. Yet another attempt to make a career in writing. Having spent plenty of time blogging on myspace, I am keen to see where this will take me.
Whether you are talented or not getting an opportunity to write is difficult. Now though with the ability to get yourself published online, you can at least get your work out to the world. There seem to be thousands of websites who seek writers. This should be good news. Unfortunately it's hard to tell.
These websites promise that you can make thousands of dollars. I would like to believe this is possible but with so many places saying the same thing I'm pessimistic at this time.
Maybe in a few weeks I'll be pulling in the big bucks and proclaiming that blogging is a viable way to make money from writing. I can dream.
