Ever heard of Gundam? Gundam series has been going on for years already and was one of the top anime through out the world. The "GUNPLA" the term for the Gundam mini size model or should I say plastic model is a must by collectors all around the world. My big bro collects Gunpla for years already and we put every one of them inside the glass closet for display.
For Gundam fans, now is the time to go to Japan *books ticket flight* XD

The work on the "life-size" statue of Gundam was opened to press Wednesday in Shizuoka. The picture shows the giant combat robot still under construction near JR Higashishizuoka Station in Shizuoka prefecture.
The 18m tall robot holds a Beam Saber, a signature weapon of Gundam. Bandai started the project as the mark of the 30th anniversary of its release of the plastic model series featuring Gundam and also other combat robots. Bandai Co. picked Shizuoka as the exhibition site starting from this July 24th as is the main factory for Gunpla models components.
