I decided that I want to delete my facebook account due to some reason as in my family starts spamming my facebooks by adding insulting tags (though its a joke on them) and even asking me to get married ans so on. I dont hate my family but some of their post or remarks should be more moderated. I mean, requesting money is fine but do it by phone or meet me..don't just put in on my facebook wall.It's embarrassing.
Anyway, when I tried to delete it, somehow, I CANT.I can only deactivate it. The site somehow convince me to stay. Before completing the process, the Facebook asks "Are you sure you want to deactivate your account?" and displays pictures of a few friends, captioned with the lines "insert your friends name" will miss you. They're very persistent.
Then, they asked for my password and lastly, they asked my to filled in the captcha thingiez. Though probably they would say that as a preventive measure and forsome mysterious security measure but, for me, it seems like it doesn't want me to delete my account. I'm more curious on how to delete my account rather than how to maintain my account.
