Daily News - Well sort of, not really
June 21st 2011 10:19
Good evening!
I can honestly say i have never been more excited to walk through my front door, then i tonight. Working indoors all day, i never get to enjoy summer. But on the flip side i miss out on the anger of mother nature and her cold shoulder.
Stepping out the door at 5pm today, i was met with the looks of people walking past me. Eyes screaming and swearing at how frosty and icy the wind was.
Walking through my front door, i throw on my UGGs, and start cooking soup immediately. Everything else i had to do waited. Snuggling down to soup and butter bread i have made a nice sport in front of my heater.
As i write this, i am slowly catching up on the news of the day. By this i mean i am filtering through web pages, blogs and also the most important source of news updates - facebook status'.
Nothing screams "delayed" when a friend posts about Ryan Dunn's death.... 14 hours after it has hit the news online. Why do people watch the news anymore. It is so SLOW.
You can debate that online news can be misleading, accuracy is called into question every so often, but same crap happens to Televised news.... People declaring celebrities we don't care about dead... when they are still alive and kicking (to our disappointment) -
Weekend approaching, i can see this week has been a slow news week. Yes there is always news about the next person to leave Master Chef, or someone being killed, a teen going missing and some celebrity dying (Ryan Dunn RIP you brilliant man). I can say the highlight so far is the man streaking naked across a live televised moment.
Well enough of my rambles and blogging. I wish i had more interesting news to share other then the fact of ITS FREEZING OUTSIDE. So ill retire to my warm room and watch more movies to pass the time.
Till tomorrow friends, one hopes a more news worthy, blog worthy day!
